Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of the Video to Text browser extension and cloud transcription service ("the service") operated by AnyVideo. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
What the service does
The service transcribes public online video audio into downloadable text and Markdown files. You must possess the legal right or authorization to access and transcribe any content you submit. You are solely responsible for complying with the source platform's terms of service and applicable intellectual property law.
Plans and minute quotas
- Anonymous Free Trial: One transcription job up to 10 minutes per browser installation without registering.
- Free Account: 30 minutes of transcription per calendar month after registering with an email address.
- Pro Subscription: $9 per month or $79 per year for 10 hours of monthly transcription time. Unused subscription minutes reset each monthly cycle.
- Prepaid Top-Ups: $4.99 for 2 hours (+120 min) or $9.99 for 5 hours (+300 min). Top-up lots remain valid for 12 months from the purchase date and are consumed after monthly quotas.
Transcription usage is metered per video minute, rounded up to the nearest whole second. If a transcription job encounters an error or fails on our infrastructure, all reserved minutes are automatically restored to your account balance.
Billing and refunds
Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your billing portal. You may cancel at any time, retaining access to your remaining quota through the end of the current billing cycle.
We believe in straightforward and fair billing. If our service did not perform as expected for your use case, contact support@anyvideo.app within 14 days of purchase and we will resolve the issue or issue a prompt refund.
Acceptable use
- Do not submit content that violates copyright laws or that you do not have permission to transcribe.
- Do not attempt to bypass trial limitations, rate limits, or quota controls through automated botting or spoofing.
- Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, or abusive content to the transcription engine.
Accounts found deliberately abusing the service or violating these conditions may be suspended without prior notice.
Availability and retention
We strive for high uptime and rapid processing, but provide the service "as is" without explicit warranties to the extent permitted by law. Transcripts are retained for 7 calendar days to allow re-downloads before automatic permanent deletion. We strongly recommend saving your downloaded files locally.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AnyVideo's cumulative liability is strictly limited to the total fees you paid to the service during the 12 months preceding any claim.
